Since I start my current job on 1st of June, 2008 until now, I have done so much downgrading for notebooks and desktop PC from Windows Vista Business to Windows XP. (Microsoft allows us to do this because Vista Business and XP is same level but not for Vista Home!)
While doing the downgrading, I found out that nowadays when you buy a notebook or desktop PC, some of them did not include the Windows XP drivers CD anymore. They only give you Windows Vista drivers CD. I have no idea why they doing this but I know that some of the users outside there still prefer using Windows XP than Windows Vista. Because of this, my colleagues and I having hard time when doing the downgrading. Sometimes, we search for almost 1 day still cannot get the complete drivers for 1 model notebook. Sometimes, I the only one chinese staff have to go to chinese website to search for the drivers because other colleagues are malay and you cannot expect the boss will help you right?
So I think I will need to do something about this, I believe that many of you experienced the same thing as me right? Please looks forward on this and when I have a results, I will let you know!
